Before you order a drain strainer, basket, drain lock, or other plumbing product, it is imperative that you measure your drain before ordering. Failure to measure may result in a product that does not fit or work properly.
Remember, for any product that goes in a drain, you will first need to remove the drain cover/grate before measuring. Then measure the diameter at the top of the drain hole. When in doubt, round up to the nearest size.
