The Floor Drain Maintainer basket system contains slow-releasing liquid-activated bacterial chunks that will break down all fats, oils, grease and scum that clog your drain pipes.  The proprietary bacterial disc that gets placed in the basket, will last 2 to 4 weeks depending on water flow in the drain.  It is a simple, all-natural, eco-friendly solution to rid drains and pipes from F.O.G. that can clog your drains, cause foul odors, and attract pests and fruit flies. (This product contains no pesticides or chemicals).

Drain Basket:

• Holds the compound disc in place
• Choose the 3" or 4" basket.  The 3" basket fits drains with 3.25" opening, and the 4" fits drain openings between 4" to 4.25"

DEFENDER Discs (sold separately):

• Keeps drain lines free of fats, oils, greases, molds, and malodors.
• Liquid activated, all-natural, "good" bacteria

How the Drain Maintainer System Works:

1. Open floor drain cover, and place basket in drain pipe
2. Place 1 or 2 Defender Bacterial Discs in the basket
3.  When the floor is washed, and water flows into the drain, the bacterial disc starts to release the five strains of "good" bacteria into the floor drain pipe. Do not use harsh chemicals to clean the floor as this may kill the bacteria.  We offer a safe floor cleaner called UltraFloor DEFENDER that compliments the Drain Maintainer System.
4. The "good" bacteria continues to work to keep the drains and pipes clean.
5.  After the bacterial disc has fully dissipated, open the drain cover and put in a new disc.
