The performance of every Grease Trap is impacted by the accumulation of food debris and foreign objects that pass down the drain. Solid food debris left in Grease Traps or Grease Interceptors for more than 5-7 days will cause foul odors and will considerably change the PH of the interceptor contents. This leads to a corrosive mixture that can damage grease interceptors and the drainage system over time. A solids interceptor when used in conjunction with your Grease Interceptor will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of wastewater grease removal. This item is a basket accessory to fit inside Drain-Net Grease Traps 7 GPM - 50 GPM or stand alone tanks. Not compatible with the Low Boy.
